The Royal Palm Bassmasters hosted the 22nd annual Red, White & Blue Fourth of July Fishing Tournament on Wednesday, July 4 at Lakeside Challenger Park in Royal Palm Beach. In addition to the tournament, participants enjoyed raffles, food and more.
Haylie Young caught the big bass, which weighed 4 lbs., 7 oz. Victoria Recchio caught the big fish (other), a catfish weighing 2 lbs., 3 oz. The rest of the results, by age category in weight of total fish caught, are as follows:
• Six & Under (Other) — First place went to Zelia Beckett, 6 lbs., 10 oz.; second place went to Derrick Lucas, 6 lbs., 9 oz.; and third place went to Ivan Bruno, 5 lbs., 14 oz.
• Six & Under (Bass) — First place went to Christopher Recchio, 2 lbs., 9 oz.; second place went to Ashlyn Nutter, 1 lb., 4 oz.; and third place went to Gabi Ferrer, 10 oz.
• Seven to Nine (Other) — First place went to Bryson Chase, 5 lbs., 12 oz.; second place to Cody Wasielewski, 3 lbs., 12 oz.; and third place to Domenic Fusca, 3 lbs., 7 oz.
• Seven to Nine (Bass) — First place went to Bradley Marsh, 4 lbs., 2 oz.; second place went to Riley Vokes, 2 lbs., 9 oz.; and third place went to Ryan Cohen, 1 lb. 6 oz.
• Ten to 12 (Other) — First place went to Maryanna Poe, 9 lbs., 3 oz.; second place went to Robert Reyers, 6 lbs.; and third place went to Mia Fusca, 2 lbs., 10 oz.
• Ten to 12 (Bass) — First place went to Jimmy Martin, 5 lbs., 6 oz.; second place went to Dylan Martinez, 4 lbs., 13 oz.; and third place went to Scott Eisenstark, 4 lbs., 4 oz.
• Thirteen to 19 (Other) — First place went to Courtney Bruckner, 6 lbs.; second place went to Nicholas Johnson, 2 lbs., 8 oz.; and third place went to Rubin Lebron, 7 oz.
• Thirteen to 19 (Bass) — First place went to Kyle Lockwood, 5 lbs., 9 oz.; second place went to Kassadi Mott, 4 lbs., 13 oz.; and third place went to Trevor Kenny, 2 lbs., 5 oz.
• Adult/Child (Other) — First place went to Nick and Ed McGregor, 3 lbs., 10 oz.; second place went to Trent Shell and Dara Sandler, 1 lb., 7 oz.; and third place was a tie between Brody and John Jara and Brody and Paul Williams, 10 oz.
• Adult/Child (Bass) — First place went to Haylie and Robert Young, 4 lbs., 7 oz.; second place went to Lance and Andrew Covert, 4 lbs.; and third place went to Brandon and Shon Hinkle, 2 lbs., 5 oz.
