Letter: President Is Killing The Job Market

On Friday, Sept. 7, the unemployment number and jobs-created numbers were announced for the month of August.

Created jobs were 96,000, and the unemployment number was 8.1 percent. The 96,000 is terrible, and the 8.1 percent dropped from 8.3 percent. The drop was because 368,000 Americans left the job market because there are no jobs. Obama is killing the job market on purpose to make Americans more dependent on the government.

This is his plan — thus, the food-stamp president. If this is not his plan, he was not able to create enough jobs in his first term, and he will not be able to do it in another term. Another term will end America as we know it. His plan is to make America just another country and strip it of its exceptionalism. If that happens, we will be socialists and on our way to communism. Those who believe in any God should know the Democratic Party took God out of their platform at the convention. Those who don’t believe in any God will probably vote for Obama again.

  1. I love your statement “Those who don’t believe in any God will probably vote for Obama again.”

I love it because those who do believe in God will vote for someone who believes God lives on planet Kolob.

    REALLY?

      • FYI – Kolob is the planet/star that Mormons believe is the closest heavenly body to the Throne Of God. God does not actually live there (on Kolob) according to the Mormons.
Although I have heard that he visits Kolob a lot as it has some of the best restaurants, bars and clubs in the galaxy. This is well known.
Rumor has it that they are about to open a Chik-Fil-A there, although I don’t believe that this should be taken as an endorsement of that restaurant chain by God.

        • Dont worry JR Pisani, Let everyone out there know i am someone different. This way no one has to get their “Gamies” in a bunch.

(“Garmies” is Morman insider slang for the sacred undergarments prescribed by the religion’s founder, Joseph Smith.)

Magic Underwear? Kolob? I guess if you can believe in that or vote for someone who believes in that you can also believe Ryan’s marathon time and i suppose if you are that dumb you can also believe that Obama’s ‘Plan’ is to strip America of its exceptionalism.

Your moronic statements regarding President Obama reflect the ignorance which the new, repugnant Republican Party has counted on in their supporters in order to enact their agenda of further destroying the fabric of this country.

In response to your ridiculous statement “…Obama is killing the job market on purpose to make Americans more dependent on the government.”
I suggest you read Robert Draper’s book, “Do Not Ask What Good We Do: Inside the U.S. House of Representatives.”

On the night of President Obama’s inauguration, the following Republicans met for a dinner party in the Caucus Room, a high-end establishment in DC:

    Eric Cantor (Va.),
    Kevin McCarthy (Calif.)
    Paul Ryan (Wis.)
    Pete Sessions (Texas)
    Jeb Hensarling (Texas)
    Pete Hoekstra (Mich.)
    Dan Lungren (Calif.)
    Jim DeMint (S.C.)
    Jon Kyl (Ariz.)
    Tom Coburn (Okla.)
    John Ensign (Nev.)
    Bob Corker (Tenn.)
    Newt Gingrich

At that meeting, they made the conscious decision to undermine the economic recovery of the United States for the sole purpose of political advancement. This happened before President Obama set foot in the White House.

For the last 4 years, every jobs bill introduced to the House has either been denied, or not evn so much as brought up for a vote – up to and including the American Jobs Act, which by all accounts would have produced over 1,000,000 new jobs.

Every one of the people at that dinner party should be brought up on charges of treason, sabotage, and domestic terrorism against the United States.

  4. Mr. Piretti, Do you really believe that President Obama’s ‘Plan’ is to strip America of its exceptionalism? That he grew up, went to school, ran for office, and then became President to bring down America? I can see you might not agree with his ideas, but REALLY? Are you serious? I didn’t agree with George Bush’s ideas but I didn’t think he was trying to bring down America. This is pure nonsense.
And do you really believe that if the President is reelected we will become a socialist country, soon to be communist? I am, actually, sure you do believe this, but rest assured, Mr. Piretti, that will not happen and is not on anyone’s agenda, least of all President Obama’s.
I was also interested to read your take on God within the Democratic party. So I guess you are saying that the Republicans are the party of God? Doesn’t this sound dangerous to you? Didn’t groups like the Taliban also say the same thing? Do you really believe that the people who vote for the Democratic party don’t believe in God? This is also nonsense. I know a lot of people who vote for Democrats and who are believers and who have a very strong faith. They vote that way because they believe in the ideas the Democrats espouse for the economy, treating with the poor, healthcare, wars, many other reasons. They do not vote by saying, “well, this party believes in god so I will vote for them”. You will also be happy to know that the democrats put ‘God’ back into the platform. So now you can vote for them, as they too are a party of God. As Sen. Chris Coons (D-Delaware/graduate of Yale Divinity School/Lifelong devotion to Christian faith) puts it “there is more to honoring God than reciting His name. If we’re going to try to measure the Godliness of our politics, it shouldn’t be by the number of times the word “God” is used, but by the strength of the values put forth in our policies.”
