The Wellington Wolves travel basketball program consists of third- through 11th-grade boys and girls teams. This season, the Wolves organization is looking to add a few more teams to the program, expanding a few grade levels by allowing an A and B team in certain grades to capture both levels of competition. This will depend on the number of coaches who apply.
There is a tryout process that will start in December. Practice begins in January 2013. Games begin in mid-January and can run through the end of June. Coaches should be designated and in place by Oct. 15. The interview process will start Oct. 5. Teams are required to have a head coach, assistant coach and a team parent to handle all of the clerical and administrative needs. The Wolves are seeking fun, dynamic, responsible role models to provide instruction and coaching in basketball.
