I’m sorry, but Wellington village staff spending my and your hard-earned money using p-cards for their own gratification doesn’t pass the smell test!
Do teachers get to use school funds to provide the same parties, flowers and refreshments for themselves? I think not. As a retiree of Pratt & Whitney, I would have been reprimanded and my career busted had I purchased flowers for my secretary or staff for any reason.
Didn’t you build the village hall with water fountains? Come on! Use our tax money wisely, and if any employee is suffering from poor morale, perhaps seeking employment in another municipality might boost it.
