RPB Joins Worldwide Day Of Play Oct. 6

The Royal Palm Beach Parks & Recreation Department will offer a free session of “Crazy Games” to support Nickelodeon’s annual Worldwide Day of Play on Saturday, Oct. 6 from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m.

Worldwide Day of Play is an annual event designed to encourage kids and parents to turn off the television and play. The event influences kids to be active by getting their schools and educational organizations to host an event to get out and be active.

Crazy Games’ mission is to give children an alternative sports program that is not highly competitive and builds self-confidence. It is also designed to motivate children to exercise and enjoy being involved in organized sports. The purpose is to create a positive athletic experience that will create lasting childhood memories. Crazy Games’ goal is to have children see the value in being active and desire to exercise throughout adulthood.
