Grab a costume and get ready for an evening of “spooktacular” fun at Wellington’s Fall Festival, scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 20 from 6 to 10 p.m. at Village Park (11700 Pierson Road).
This annual family-friendly favorite is presented by Wellington in partnership with the Central Palm Beach County Chamber of Commerce. Visit the haunted hallways if you dare, or have some lighthearted fun with laser-free laser tag, hay rides, trick-or-treating, face painting, bounce houses, onstage performances and more. There will be a costume contest for the scariest, most original and best look-alike character costumes. Competitors will be divided into five age groups: under 3, ages 4 to 6, ages 7 to 10, ages 11 to 14, and 15 and older.
Unlimited all-access bracelets are required for activities and are on sale now at Village Park and the Wellington Community Center at a cost of $7 for children and $5 for adults. On the day of the event, bracelets cost $10 for children and $5 for adults. There is an additional $5 cost to participate in laser-free laser tag.
This event is made possible by title sponsors Royal Palm Nissan, Royal Palm Toyota Scion and Waste Management. Other sponsors include the Central Palm Beach County Chamber of Commerce, the Village of Wellington, Humana, Zambelli Fireworks, Med Express Urgent Care, the Town-Crier, Whole Foods Market, the Palm Beach Post, the Sun-Sentinel, the Wellington Preservation Coalition, Walgreens, Sports Authority and Florida Power & Light.
