At a recent Palm Beach County School Board meeting, Palm Beach Central High School was among 10 schools recognized for their outstanding paper recycling efforts during the 2011-12 school year. SP Recycling presented each school with a check for $100. SP Recycling has been a strong partner in the district’s paper recycling program for many years, and the school is grateful for their generosity. Palm Beach Central collected 17.3 tons, the most from among the district’s high schools. Other local schools recognized for their efforts were Crestwood Middle School, the No. 1 recycler with 28.1 tons collected, and Wellington High School with 11.0 tons. Shown here are Palm Beach Central students celebrating their accomplishment.
