There are many reasons why I am voting again for Martha Webster. First, she is an active member of the community. Martha can be found at most events and organizations, speaking with residents on a weekly basis — not just during election time. She actively works for us, listening to our concerns and weighing all points of view.
Second, Martha is willing to make changes to improve our community. In this past year, she has worked with staff to draft ordinances to change the rear fence and hedge height from 6 feet to 8 eight, and increased the number of garage sales permitted, as well as including space on the village web site to promote them. Martha has also added a dog park to the Commons Park budget and a skateboard park to the village — all from residents’ requests.
Lastly, and most importantly, Martha Webster is a woman of her word. She does not flip her position for personal gain. These are just a few of the reasons why I’m voting for Martha Webster, and I encourage all residents to speak with her to prior to the election.
