The Cats of Wellington competitive gymnastics team competed in the 2013 Gasparilla Classic held March 2-3 in Tampa.
In Level 2, Sophia Roberts placed first all-around in her age group with a 37.675, including a first-place finish on vault with a 9.7, and scores of 9.4 on bars, 9.2 on beam and 9.375 on floor. Keelin Coleman was awarded scores of 9.425 on vault, 9.525 on bars, 9 on beam and 9.325 on floor. Aliyah Perez received scores of 9.375 on vault, 9.55 on bars (first place) and 9.125 on floor. Ava Delafe earned a 9.45 on vault. Alyssa Santoro was awarded a 9 on vault, 9 on bars and 9.025 on floor. Guilbrhea Pacheco, competing in her first meet, received a 9 on floor. Kyleigh Gardner earned a 9.1 on vault and a 9.2 on bars. Juliana Lettera, also competing in her first meet, was awarded a 9.1 on vault. The Level 2 girls finished third in the team standings.
In Level 3, Zoe Kyrkostas placed first all-around in her age group with a 38.2, including first place on vault with a 9.725, first place on bars with a 9.7, first place on floor with a 9.65 and a score of 9.125 on beam. Kayla Levins received a first place on vault with a 9.45, and scores of 9.475 on bars, 9.225 on beam and 9.475 on floor. Angelina Apicella was awarded a first place on floor with a 9.5, and scores of 9.3 on vault, 9.425 on bars and 9.125 on beam. Arianna Nettles earned 9.05 on vault, 9.125 on bars and 9.15 on floor. Sophia Rodriguez scored a 9.3 on vault and 9.075 on floor. Karlie Navor earned an 8.775 on floor. Hailey Gruber was awarded an 8.775 on vault. Nicole Campos received a 9.05 on vault. Katie Lettera scored an 8.775 on bars. Sophia LaCosta earned a 9.1 on vault. The Level 3 girls finished second in the team standings.
In Level 4, Allison Bunchuk placed first all-around in her age group with a 36.675, including a first place on floor with a 9.475, and scores of 8.85 on vault, 9.3 on bars and 9.05 on beam. Faith Campagnuolo finished first all-around in her age group with a 36.125, including a first place on floor with a 9.325, and scores of 9.2 on vault, 8.5 on bars and 9.1 on beam. Alexis Merritt received scores of 9.15 on vault, 9.175 on bars (first place) and 9.225 on floor. Hannah Hutchins earned scores of 8.8 on vault and 8.9 on bars. The Level 4 girls finished first in the team standings.
In Level 5, Arabella Campbell earned first place on both vault (8.75) and bars (8.75), and received an 8.95 on floor. Samantha Baez was awarded an 8.85 on beam and 8.5 on floor. Brienna McCaffrey scored an 8.55 on floor and an 8.25 on beam. Bianca Sileo earned an 8.45 on floor and 8.05 on beam. The level 5 girls finished second in the team standings.
In Level 7, Michela Arbocco earned an 8.675 on vault, 8.1 on bars, 8.325 on beam and an 8.5 on floor. Elia Aird was awarded an 8.65 on vault, 8.125 on beam and an 8.425 on floor. In the Prep Opt. session, Isabella Padilla earned scores of 8.5 on vault, 8 on bars, 9.05 on beam and 9 on floor. Alexia Moraes was awarded an 8.55 on vault and beam and an 8.3 on floor.
