This week, Royal Palm Beach Mayor Matty Mattioli is heading up the visioning process for the future of the village. The mayor and council members have lately gone to calling the place “Mayberry.”
Mayberry, as some may recall from a time long gone, is a quaint, fictional town never touched by change — a place where nothing comes and nothing goes. So to all those visioning at the village workshop, slap yourselves on the back and go on down to the fishing hole; only Andy and Opie won’t be there — they moved on.
