This school year, the theme at Wellington Elementary School has been to “Go for the Gold” in honor of the Olympic year. Students and staff have made it a successful year with hard work, dedication, focus and positivity. On Friday, April 12, Wellington Elementary School held an “opening ceremonies” FCAT pep rally to encourage the third through fifth graders to do their best on testing. Classes paraded, sang and cheered! Teachers lit the cauldron and Principal Dr. Eugina Smith Feaman declared “Let FCAT Begin.” Shown here, the Olympic rings and banner encourage students to do well on the FCAT.
