On Saturday, April 27, the Bass Fishing Kids tournament trail stopped off at John Prince Park in Lake Worth. The weather was perfect to catch some fish. There were a total of 31 fish caught that day. In the Small Fry Division, Preston Reiter came in first place, and second place went Dawson Ball. In the Junior Division, Jesse Saunders came in first place, second place went to Nick Nestor and third place went to Daniel Friedman. There were two fish caught in the 2-pound range, three fish caught in the 3-pound range, one fish caught in the 4-pound range and one fish caught in the 5-pound range. In the Junior Division, Nestor landed Bass Fishing Kids’ largest fish to date — a 5.75-pound largemouth. The next tournament is scheduled for Saturday, May 18 at Okeeheelee Park.
