Michael L. Davis has been named to the board of directors of the Arthur R. Marshall Foundation for the Everglades & Florida Environmental Institute, which champions the restoration and preservation of Florida’s ecosystem.
Davis is a vice president and principal of Broward County based Keith and Schnars P.A., one of the largest consulting firms of engineers, planners and surveyors in Florida.
Davis is directly responsible for managing projects in water resources, environmental and transportation planning, urban planning, landscape architecture, public information/outreach and environmental sciences.
With more than 33 years of high-level experience, Davis has served in a senior capacity in the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, the White House Council on Environmental Quality, the Environmental Protection Agency and the U.S. Department of the Interior.
“Michael Davis brings to the Marshall Foundation an extensive knowledge of state and national water and environmental policy, wetlands regulations and legislation,” said Nancy Marshall, president of the nonprofit organization. “His reputation and recognition by environmental agency leaders both in Florida and Washington, D.C., will be invaluable in our ongoing effort to preserve, protect and restore the historic River of Grass.”
