The Palm Beach County Parks & Recreation Department is offering a summer nature camp for children ages 9-12 at the Okeeheelee Nature Center, Aug. 5-9, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily.
Participating campers will have fun celebrating 500 years of Florida, exploring cultural and natural history through field trips and fun activities that might include an airboat ride in the Everglades, snorkeling at the beach, visiting historical sites, animal encounters, crafts and games.
