Wellington American Legion Baseball Finishes Fourth In Florida

The Chris Reyka Memorial Wellington Post 390 American Legion Baseball team just completed their second season with a District 11 championship win over Royal Palm Beach Post 367 by a score of 8-5.

The team then advanced to the state tournament, where they finished fourth in Florida.

ā€œIā€™m very proud of these boys, they came together as a team and played great baseball the second half of the season and into the district playoffs,ā€ manager Tony Viscusi said.

The Chris Reyka Memorial Wellington Post 390 American Legion Baseball team consisted of players from Wellington High School, Palm Beach Central High School and the Kings Academy.
