The Wellington Rotary Club and the Village of Wellington sponsored the Wellington celebration of United Nations World Peace Day on Saturday, Sept. 21 at the Wellington Rotary Peace Park. Local children were given awards for winning entries in the Rotary peace contests, which featured poster, poetry and essay competitions.
