The Wellington High School wrestling team improved to 18-1 this season and won the western conference championship tournament held at Royal Palm Beach High School. Wellington defeated Royal Palm Beach in the first round 68-10, Seminole Ridge in the second round 47-21 and Palm Beach Central in the third round 84-0. Wrestlers who finished 3-0 at the conference tournament were Colton Macfarlane, Briar Macfarlane, Nik Bonadies, Marcus Morin, Brandon Paz, Josue Arce, Devin Gillotte and A.J. Lopez.
