Thank goodness for Commissioner Jess Santamaria and Vice Mayor Paulette Burdick. It seems that honest government is still needed on the Board of County Commissioners. We, as voters, will remember those of you who did not represent us when you were asked to consider our wishes. Instead, you listened to someone who promised you a reward for your loyalty. When do we permit the likes of Commissioner Shelley Vana and Mayor Priscilla Taylor to speak for the residents? These people have no clue about life in our area. If they did, they would think about the concerns of the people who live here. Minto may build, but “will they come?”
