Wellington Little League’s opening day ceremonies were held on Saturday, Feb. 28 at the Olympia Park Baseball Complex. The special guest was Wellington High School graduate and Major League Baseball pitcher Sean Burnett, who was joined by Wellington Mayor Bob Margolis and Councilman John McGovern. The day marked the start of baseball season, which runs from March through May.
