Eyal Press, author of Beautiful Souls: The Courage and Conscience of Ordinary People in Extraordinary Times, will be discussing his book at Palm Beach Central High School on Monday, April 13 at 7 p.m.
The book has become a bestseller and is currently required reading for incoming college freshman at many colleges and universities around the country.
Press will be available to answer questions and sign books at the conclusion of his discussion.
The Washington Post writes that Beautiful Souls “provides rich, provocative narratives of moral choice… Press makes us wonder if we would have the strength to act against the crowd, and in doing so spread a bit of light in our own dark times.”
The event is open to the community and admission is free. The event is funded by inSight Through Education.
