Marshall Lewis Completes U.S. Air Force Basic Training

Air Force Airman 1st Class Marshall E. Lewis recently graduated from basic military training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland in San Antonio, Texas.

The airman completed an intensive, eight-week program that included training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness, and basic warfare principles and skills.

Airmen who complete basic training earn four credits toward an associate’s degree in applied science through the Community College of the Air Force. Lewis earned distinction as an honor graduate.

Lewis is the son of Gilda Orta of Arlington Heights, Ill., Marshall Lewis of West Palm Beach and Marshall Blankenship of Lincolnwood, Ill.

The airman graduated in 2013 from Palm Beach Central High School.
