On behalf of President Barack Obama, Wellington resident Talia Fradkin, a junior at Palm Beach Virtual School, has been awarded the President’s Volunteer Service Award based on outstanding community service and volunteer hours.
Fradkin has devoted many volunteer hours tutoring students in geometry, chemistry, algebra and English. In addition, she is a volunteer in her community in the areas of computer research and design.
The award recognizes young volunteers who are committed to making a positive change in their community.
