On Wednesday, Oct. 7, students at Cypress Trails Elementary School in Royal Palm Beach participated in International Walk
to School Day.
The students were taught pedestrian safety in their physical education class, and Walk to School Day was the cumulative
event to allow them to practice what they have learned.
The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office and the Safe Routes to School organization provided free items for students who
participated.
