Jacobs Family Will Give Scholarships To PBAU Students

Thanks to the Jacobs Family Foundation, Wellington residents seeking to complete college or pursue graduate degrees are getting a helping hand with their finances.

The foundation has provided scholarships totaling $30,000 over three years for Wellington residents attending Palm Beach Atlantic University’s campus on State Road 7.

To qualify, Wellington residents with financial need must be enrolled in the university’s bachelor’s or graduate programs offered by the MacArthur School of Leadership.

“Education has always been important to my family,” said Jacobs Family Foundation Board Member Louis Jacobs. “We’re proud to provide this scholarship money to Palm Beach Atlantic, and especially proud that it will be used to help individuals who face life challenges that otherwise might have ended their pursuit of a college degree.”

Five to eight students per semester will be able to achieve their educational goals thanks to the scholarships provided by the Jacobs Family Foundation.
