Classes at all grade levels payed special homage to mothers for Mother’s Day at New Horizons Elementary School by inviting them to school for special events. Shown above, fourth grade dual language students and parents celebrated “Groovy Mamas” by dressing in 1970s outfits and performing period dances, including “Stayin’ Alive.” Third grade dual language students and parents wore hats to the theme “Hats and Heels” and dramatized the book “Where the Wild Mums Are” to honor their mothers.
