Wellington Elementary School is a unique school in many ways. One of the ways is that the school has several members of the faculty/staff who are related. Among them (above) is music teacher Dave Morrison and his wife, SAI teacher Stephanie Morrison; fifth-grade teacher Jason Versage and his wife, kindergarten teacher Heather Versage; and fourth-grade teacher Kayli Plaia and her mother, speech and language pathologist Cheryl Payne. Also in the same family are aftercare counselor in training Caleigh Tosner and her mother, VPK/inclusion teacher Cathy Eckstein, as well as kindergarten teacher Andrea Unger and her mother, after school secretary Ellen Unger, as well as assistant behavioral/physical needs specialist Liz Barksdale and her daughter, after school counselor Megan Barksdale.
