Although I live in the equestrian area and have horses, I strongly agree with Mr. [George] Unger’s letter regarding the impending destruction of our building codes (Opposition To Players Club Residential Plan, Letters, Sept. 13).
The equine industry is an economic engine in Wellington. A large part of its success has been due to building codes that keep the area very attractive and free of hotels and condos.
I hope that our village leaders will not start the destruction of the very fabric of our town.
