Wellington High School started its wresting season on Friday, Nov. 22, and the Wolverine grapplers kicked off their pre-season hosting a classic dual meet with back-to-back victories against Suncoast and Miami Jackson high schools. The Wolverines first defeated the Chargers 56-21, and then shut out Miami Jackson 75-0. Longtime coach Travis Gray continues to do a stellar job preparing his squad as one of the area’s most consistent and dominant teams.
