Owner Juan Gando of Oli’s Fashion Cuisine has jumped right in to help the Wellington community through the COVID-19 pandemic by creating an “emergency market” right inside the now non-seating dining room.
The market sells everything from fine wine and beer to eggs, whole milk, avocados and even toilet paper. Yes, even toilet paper is available by the roll or case.
Gando and his team continue to adhere to the strict guidelines amid the pandemic. They are cooking and offering their full menu for pick-up or delivery. Call-ahead service is recommended.
When asked why he found it necessary to offer additional products through this new emergency market, Gando said it is his part to help the community he loves.
“No matter how difficult it has become over the last weeks, as we continue to deal with this virus, there is nowhere else I would want to live,” he said. “We are truly blessed, and we wanted to do what we could to continue to serve our community, adding extra items to help the community that has supported us over the many years.”
Oli’s Fashion Cuisine is a scratch kitchen and wine bar that provides a contemporary and visual twist to all of your favorite classics.
