The 11th District of the American Legion Department of Florida, in lieu of its annual Memorial Day events, held a ceremony on Thursday, May 21 at the South Florida National Cemetery to honor not only the men and women who sacrifice their lives in defense of our nation, but also the many who have selflessly given of themselves to combat the COVID-19 pandemic here and around the world.
