Local residents raced for the cookies on Saturday, March 6 during the 10th annual Thin Mint Sprint 5K hosted by the Girl Scouts of Southeast Florida at Okeeheelee Park.
With a box of Thin Mints waiting for them at the finish line, the overall winner was Jaclynn Green from Boca Raton with a fast time of 20:48 minutes. For the under 8 crowd, there was also a Tagalong Trot 100-yard dash.
