Author Elizabeth Berg To Speak At Love Of Literacy Luncheon April 1

Elizabeth Berg, the author of the 2021-22 Read Together Palm Beach County book, The Story of Arthur Truluv, will headline the 31st annual Love of Literacy Luncheon set for 11:30 a.m. on Friday, April 1 at the Kravis Center for the Performing Arts.

Read Together Palm Beach County kicked off at the 30th annual Love of Literacy Luncheon held on Nov. 16, 2021, and ends at this year’s luncheon. The Story of Arthur Truluv is about an unlikely friendship that develops among three people, all of whom have lost the one they love most.

Berg is the author of many bestselling novels. In addition to The Story of Arthur Truluv, she penned Open House, an Oprah’s Book Club selection, Talk Before Sleep, The Year of Pleasures, and The Day I Ate Whatever I Wanted, a short story collection. Her books Durable Goods and Joy School are American Library Association Books of the Year.

Literacy Coalition board members Bernadette O’Grady and Debra Ghostine are co-chairing the luncheon.
