Educational Opportunity Centers (EOC), a federally funded TRIO program at Palm Beach State College, the PBSC Foundation and the Salvation Army will sponsor a Community Educational Fair to help individuals get hands-on assistance with college admission and scholarship applications, complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and get access to a range of community services.
The event is free and open to the public. There will be food, fun and games. Attendees must register at http://bit.ly/triocef.
The event will take place on Saturday, April 9 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Salvation Army (600 N. Rosemary Ave., West Palm Beach). The event will include EOC staff and representatives from more than a dozen state agencies, nonprofit organizations, PBSC trade programs and the PBSC Career Center on hand to provide information about their services.
