Councilwoman Marge Herzog’s 80th birthday was celebrated before the Loxahatchee Groves Landowners’ Association meeting on Thursday, Oct. 27 at Palms West Presbyterian Church. Guests took turns talking about Herzog’s accomplishments for the community over the years. Friends and relatives wished her a happy birthday in person and via Zoom. Longtime president of the LGLA, Herzog was instrumental in the successful incorporation effort of the Town of Loxahatchee Groves. She served on the inaugural town council, and then returned to the council in 2020.
