Vets Day Service At The Wellington Veterans Memorial

American Legion Post 390 Wellington Commander Robert Nappi presents Timothy Daniel Glantz with the Purple Heart for his courageous efforts while serving in the U.S. Army.

A respectful crowd turned out for a Veterans Day service at the Wellington Veterans Memorial on Friday, Nov. 11 to honor all those who served — and are serving — in the United States Armed Forces. The ceremony included speeches from local veterans, a pinning of the Purple Heart, a special recognition of each branch of service, and a moment of silence as “Taps” was played to honor those lost in service.
