Golden Grove Elementary School celebrated its silver anniversary Wednesday, Nov. 16, marking 25 years of service to the children and families of the Acreage/Loxahatchee area. Faculty members old and new filled the school library for a festive ceremony. The school is currently home to 793 students. It has had only five principals over the past quarter century, including current Principal Linda Edgecomb. Former principals Suzanne Gibbs, Adam Miller and Kathryn Koerner were in attendance. Founding Principal Barbara Altman passed away in 2006.
