The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Foundation honored the recipients of its 2023 Youth Scholarship Program on Sunday, March 5 at a luncheon at the National Polo Center in Wellington. The 15 Palm Beach County high school seniors, all of whom were nominated by a sworn employee of the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office, will receive $2,500 scholarships for their freshman year. Each scholarship is renewable for up to four years. The 15 winners represented schools from across the county, including Lauren Farrell from Wellington High School, who will attend the University of Central Florida; Thomas Karbowski of Seminole Ridge High School, who will attend the University of Central Florida; and Morgan Rimes of Seminole Ridge High School, who will attend Palm Beach State College.
