On Thursday, April 25, Wellington Elementary School participated in Take Our Daughters and Sons to Work Day. Many children of the school’s staff accompanied their parents to work. The sons and daughters enjoyed assisting their parents while learning about a career in education. They had a nice breakfast and even got to sit in the principal’s chair. Take Your Child to Work Day originated with the goal of developing creative and groundbreaking ways to engage the youth of America in the realization of their hopes and dreams.
