Movement Arts Dance Academy in Royal Palm Beach will hold a six-week session of “transitional” creative movement and pre-ballet.
The class will meet Monday evenings from 5 to 5:30 p.m. and will run from Monday, Feb. 11 through Monday, March 18.
The class is designed for students who turned 2 years old between Sept. 2 and Jan. 15.
In addition to teaching basic ballet steps, the class will also teach students to follow directions, gain social skills and make new friends. It will prepare students to move into the creative movement and pre-ballet class for 2- to 3-year-olds during the 2013-14 school year.
