APRIL 26 — A deputy from the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office substation in Royal Palm Beach was dispatched to a home in Counterpoint Estates last Thursday afternoon regarding a vehicle burglary. According to a PBSO report, sometime between 9 p.m. last Wednesday and 3 p.m. the following afternoon, someone broke into the victim’s vehicle and stole several pieces of medical equipment. The victim discovered that someone had gone through the vehicle and removed a nursing medical bag with an anti-coagulant machine, a blood pressure cuff, a glucosmeter, wound-care dressing and more. The stolen items were valued at approximately $2,300. There were no suspects or witnesses at the time of the report.
APRIL 27 — A resident of Counterpoint Estates contacted the PBSO substation in Royal Palm Beach last Friday morning regarding a vehicle burglary. According to a PBSO report, sometime between 8 p.m. last Thursday and 7 a.m. the following morning, someone entered the victim’s unlocked SUV and stole a Pioneer DVD player and navigation system valued at approximately $1,500. DNA evidence was taken at the scene, but there were no suspects or witnesses at the time of the report.
APRIL 28 — An employee of a restaurant in the Royal Plaza called the PBSO substation in Royal Palm Beach last Saturday evening to report a theft. According to a PBSO report, at approximately 9:45 p.m., an unknown young female entered the restaurant, waited by the counter for a few moments, and then took the tip jar that was sitting on the counter. According to the report, the suspect fled the store and got into a newer model red Ford Mustang being driven by an unknown white male. The suspect was described as a thin woman in her late teens or early 20s with blond hair in a ponytail. According to the report, the tip jar contained between $52 and $80 in cash. Surveillance video of the incident was available, but there was no further information at the time of the report.
APRIL 29 — Several residents of The Acreage contacted the PBSO’s Acreage/Loxahatchee substation last Sunday to report acts of vandalism. According to separate PBSO reports, several residents discovered that the tires on their vehicles had been slashed. According to one PBSO report, a resident of 120th Avenue North said that sometime between 10 p.m. last Saturday and 3 p.m. the following afternoon, someone slashed the sidewalls of her vehicle’s two right tires, causing approximately $300 in damage. There were no suspects or witnesses at the time of the report. According to a second PBSO report, the victim last saw her vehicle at approximately 10 p.m. last Saturday. When she returned to her vehicle at 8 a.m. the following morning, she discovered that her back left tire was flat. According to the report, someone slashed the sidewall of the tire, causing approximately $150 in damages. There were no suspects or witnesses at the time of the report. In a third PBSO report, a resident of 67th Court North said that sometime between 8:30 p.m. last Wednesday and 10:46 a.m. the following morning, someone cut her rear left tire, causing approximately $150 in damage. According to the report, the deputy believed that the victim might have run over something in the road. There was no further information available at the time of the report.
APRIL 30 — A resident of Fawnwood Place contacted the PBSO substation in Wellington on Monday morning to report an act of vandalism. According to a PBSO report, sometime between 12:15 a.m. last Sunday and 8:15 a.m. the following morning, someone cut the victim’s left front tire, causing approximately $150 in damage. There were no suspects or witnesses at the time of the report.
APRIL 30 — A deputy from the PBSO substation in Royal Palm Beach responded to a home in the Whispering Pines community Monday afternoon regarding an attempted residential burglary. According to a PBSO report, sometime between 5:45 a.m. and 4:05 p.m., someone damaged and removed the screen to the victim’s rear bedroom window. No entry was made to the home, but the perpetrator(s) caused approximately $25 in damages. There were no suspects or witnesses at the time of the report.
APRIL 30 — A deputy from the PBSO substation in Wellington was dispatched to a business in Commerce Park East on Monday evening regarding a vehicle burglary. According to the PBSO report, the victim parked her vehicle outside the business at approximately 6:15 p.m. When she returned at approximately 8:15 p.m., she discovered that someone used an unknown object to smash out her rear driver’s-side window. According to the report, the perpetrator(s) removed her Louis Vuitton handbag that was under the driver’s seat. The bag contained the victim’s credit cards, driver’s license, passport, jewelry and cash. The stolen items were valued at approximately $2,600. There were no suspects or witnesses at the time of the report.
APRIL 30 — A deputy from the PBSO substation in Wellington responded to Village Park on Monday evening regarding a vehicle burglary. According to a PBSO report, sometime between 7:30 and 9:30 p.m., someone broke the victim’s rear driver’s-side window and stole the victim’s purse containing credit cards and bank cards. DNA evidence was taken at the scene, but there were no suspects or witnesses at the time of the report.
MAY 1 — An employee of Whole Foods Market called the PBSO substation in Wellington on Tuesday evening to report a vehicle theft. According to a PBSO report, the victim parked his silver 1994 Honda behind the store and locked it at approximately 3:45 p.m. When he returned at approximately 8 p.m., he discovered his car was missing. According to the report, there was no sign of forced entry. The vehicle is described as a silver Honda with a green bumper and front panel. There were no suspects or witnesses at the time of the report.
