Joint Pain Talk Set For March 26

The Center for Bone and Joint Surgery will present a discussion by Dr. Jorge Acevedo on Tuesday, March 26 from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Wellington Community Center (12150 W. Forest Hill Blvd.).

Acevedo will present a seminar on foot and ankle pain with remedies designed for people of all ages who may be experiencing joint pain. The seminar is free and open to all ages, and lunch will be provided.

Acevedo is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon with advanced fellowship training in foot and ankle surgery. He is one of only a few surgeons in Florida performing total ankle replacement on the arthritic ankle. Acevedo is also recognized as a pioneer in “arthroscopic lateral ankle ligament reconstruction.” As the inventor of this technique, he has more experience with this procedure than anyone in the United States today. His other areas of specialization include sports medicine, lower extremity conditions and platelet rich plasma (PRP) therapy injections.

To register for the free Lunch & Learn seminar, call (561) 753-2489 Monday through Thursday from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. or stop by the Wellington Community Center.
