Cub Scout Pack 120, from Royal Palm Beach, enjoyed a presentation from Palm Beach County Animal Care & Control at their March pack meeting.
Dens learned about safe human contact with unknown animals, animal care, safety and health issues with pets. Elizabeth Harfmann educated the scouts in safety precautions for pets, including the importance of micro-chipping.
After the talk, the scouts and their families donated more than 150 neckerchiefs for dogs to wear on their adoption day.
