The Mid-County Democratic Club met Monday, April 15 at Tree’s Wings in Royal Palm Beach with guest speakers Palm Beach County Inspector General Sheryl Steckler and County Commissioner Jess Santamaria. Steckler spoke about the duties of her office, along with what problems she was encountering and correcting. Santamaria addressed the importance of the inspector general. Santamaria urged citizens to get involved in community government, learn the facts and let officials know what the citizens really want government to do.
