After studying colonial times, and researching and reporting on colonial trades, fifth-grade students at New Horizons Elementary School experienced Colonial Day. Students enjoyed taking on the role of colonials by dressing in costumes, churning butter, creating tinsmith designs, playing colonial games and square dancing.
