We can’t sue the federal or state government when they go against our constitutional rights. We, as the American people, can do nothing but watch our liberties slip into the past.
Those of you who know what’s going on with freedom of speech, the right to bear arms, freedom of religion, the right to demonstrate and gather, freedom of the press — all these rights are under attack today and for the last five years. New York, California and Colorado have recently passed legislation stifling our Second Amendment, the right to bear arms, requiring background checks to buy a gun and now ammunition. Who owns a gun and buys ammunition for it is not part of our constitution.
The newspapers of our country do not tell you what’s really going on, so if you’re not aware of the freedoms under attack, this is one reason why. Other reasons are local news channels, and most cable channels protect this administration from the truth.
I believe the American people can now have a voice through themselves. We can sue companies that uphold these unconstitutional acts. The background check companies willing to do the government’s dirty work can be held responsible for infringing on our freedoms. Yes, they will say they are following the law, but they are infringing as the constitution states. A class-action suit for the American people against any and all companies that infringe on our rights.
OK, thousands of bar member attorneys in the State of Florida, do something! You can’t lose this case because it’s true.

I don’t believe that companies do background checks. I believe that they are done by the National Instant Criminal Background Check System, or NICS. Mandated by the Brady Handgun Violence Prevention Act of 1993 and launched by the FBI on November 30, 1998.
NICS is used by Federal Firearms Licensees (FFLs) to instantly determine whether a prospective buyer is eligible to buy firearms or explosives. The decision to deny ownership is not one made by private companies. The law sets the standards that are checked against the NICS and so there seemingly is no case against private companies.
The massive government snooping into our phone calls allows them to know whom we call, when we call and how long we conversed. And don’t worry they can easily tap into what is being said.
The government knows when and where we travel. They patdown our elderly, our children (who know nothing else but this bodily invasion, it’s normal for them, it’s never been ‘different’ for them. There was no ‘before’ 2001 for them). Your private vehicle travel can be monitored, too.
The government know what items we purchased, when and where we purchased them; and what our personal financial transactions are.
The government will know your intimate healthcare problems, what prescriptions you take. They will monitor and recommend healthcare options for you and decide what healthcare you can or can’t have. They will know your weight, your BMI, your blood pressure and other ailments.
The government will track your child’s school records, IQ, test scores, behavior problems. School curriculum, national standards can shape your child’s perceptions. Your child will be labeled from an early age. There has already been iris scanning in Polk County FL of school children.
The government knows what websites you have visited and what you ‘searched’ for on your computer. They can be aware of every keystroke you make.
We’ve already seen what the IRS has done to their perceived ‘enemies’. They leaked information about taxes, donations given to their ‘enemies’. They have access to your income, investments, bank accounts, political leanings. They can audit you at the drop of a hat and you are left alone to deal with this government entity that has monies, lawyers and power; as you try to defend yourself or hire someone to help you defend you.
Just damn scary. Chipping away at personal freedoms, or rather perceived ‘freedoms’.
