Dr. Wesley Boughner and Barbara Johnson surprised friends and family members Thursday, July 4 with a wedding during the couple’s Independence Day pool party and picnic. An announcement was made mid-afternoon that the couple would be married poolside. Longtime friend Randy Pfeiffer performed the ceremony, with Henrik Nordstrom as best man and Leslie Pfeiffer as matron of honor. Angela, Johnson’s shih-tzu, was the ring bearer. Family and friends enjoyed the surprise, and champagne toasts were celebrated into the evening, which culminated while watching the Fourth of July fireworks.
