The Cats of Wellington gymnastics team competed in the 2013 AAU Age Group National Championships, held recently in Orlando.
The team had a fantastic showing, with four all-around national champions in their respective groups: Keelin Coleman, Zoe Kyrkostas, Ruth Lively and Arabella Campbell.
In Level 2, Keelin Coleman finished first all-around in her group with a 38.85, including first on bars (9.575), first on floor (9.8), first on beam (9.85) and 9.625 on vault. Sophia Roberts was awarded first on vault (9.6) and scores of 9.35 on bars, 9.5 on beam and 9.575 on floor. Guilbrhea Pacheco earned scores of 9.25 on vault, 9.425 on bars, 9.45 on beam and 9.55 on floor. Allison Franck scored 9.075 on vault, 9.225 on bars, 9.425 on beam and 9.3 on floor. Juliana Stebbins had scores of 9.1 on vault, 9.025 on bars, 9.3 on beam and 9.325 on floor. Ava Delafe earned scores of 9.275 on vault and 9.05 on bars. Natalie Bornel scored 9.3 on vault and 9.75 on beam.
In Level 3, Zoe Kyrkostas finished first all-around in her group with a 38.575, including first on vault (10), first on bars (9.675), and scores of 9.55 on beam and 9.35 on floor. Ruth Anne Lively finished first all-around in her group with a 38.075, including first on bars (9.675), first on floor (9.7), and scores of 9.5 on vault and 9.2 on beam. Kayla Levins earned first place on beam with a score of 9.45 and scores of 9.7 on vault, 9.35 on bars and 9.525 on floor. Angelina Apicella had scores of 9.725 on vault, 9.6 on bars, 9.225 on beam and 9.275 on floor. Sasha Campbell earned 9.55 on vault, 9.65 on bars, 9.25 on beam and 9 on floor. Sophia Rodriguez scored 9.475 on vault, 9.5 on bars, 9.2 on beam and 9.175 on floor. Ashleigh Altfest took 9.2 on vault, 9.6 on bars and 9.55 on floor. Sophia Lacosta scored 9.525 on vault and 9.4 on bars. Hailey Gruber received 9.55 on vault, 9.425 on bars and 9.075 on beam. Nicole Campos earned 9.15 on vault, 9.325 on bars and 9 on beam. Arianna Nettles finished with scores of 9.625 on vault, 9.35 on bars and 9.2 on floor.
In Level 4, Alexis Merritt was awarded 9.525 on vault, 9.2 on bars, 9 on beam and 9.55 on floor. Allison Bunchuk earned scores of 9.2 on vault, 9.25 on bars, 9.4 on beam and 9.225 on floor. In Level 5, Arabella Campbell finished first all-around in her group with 36.95, including first on vault (9), first on bars (9.35) and scores of 9.15 on beam and 9.45 on floor. Samantha Baez earned first place on beam (9.475), and scores of 9.375 on bars and 9 on floor. Brieanna McCaffrey had 8.775 on vault, 8.625 on bars, 9.2 on floor and 8.575 on beam. Kinsey Cribbs earned 8.7 on vault, 9.3 on bars and 8.9 on floor. In Modified Optionals, Alexia Moraes earned 8.7 on vault and 9.525 on floor.
