State Sen. Joseph Abruzzo (D-District 25) met recently with Wellington resident and Florida Virtual School Student Legislative Ambassador Talia Fradkin.
Also in attendance were Barbara Cavanagh, Florida Virtual School district relations manager, and Cinnamon Bitzer, Florida Virtual School HOPE instructor.
“Education is an important issue,” Fradkin said. “As a country, we need to be committed to academic excellence and ensure that education is properly funded.”
Abruzzo, a member of the Education Committee in Tallahassee, discussed the importance of virtual school education with the group.
