The Wellington Elementary School Chorus Club, under the direction of music teacher and chorus director Dave Morrison, performed the premiere of the holiday show, “Holly and the Ivy League” on Dec. 18.
The show was repeated the following day at two different times, so the entire school could see it. There was amazing acting and singing, along with vibrant stage settings.
The school’s chorus club worked hard, meeting three to four times a week to rehearse the holiday production. It took hard work, dedication and commitment by the third, fourth and fifth graders to make the stage production a great success.
The club will begin meeting again in the beginning of February to work on different songs for various events and concerts, as well as a spring show.
