Donations Needed For Rescued Horses

Palm Beach County Animal Care & Control is in need of donations for eight horses recently rescued. The shelter is asking for donations of hay, grain and other supplies to help nurture the animals during their stay.

The public is invited to make a donation of one or more of the following items: equine senior horse feed, 10 percent pellet horse feed, hay (timothy/alfalfa mix), pine shavings for stalls, fly repellent for horses and SWAT fly repellent ointment.

Donations can be delivered directly to the shelter, located at 7100 Belvedere Road in West Palm Beach, during regular business hours: 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday.
